Grain

• Today 1 billion people are starving¹
• By 2050 there will be an extra 3 billion people on the planet²,  so 4 billion people will need food
• If we all stopped eating meat
• And gave the grain that feeds livestock to people instead^{3, 4, 5}
• There would be an end to world hunger, and food security for future generations

34% x 2,287 million tonnes of grain produced = 777 million tonnes produced to feed livestock, divided by 180kg (amount needed to feed a person) = 4.3 billion people
